Fr. Joel Wilson - Pastor

Born and raised in New Jersey, my life has also been full of adventures and travel. From the tip of South America, to eastern Hungary, I love to experience new cultures, foods and traditions, but the people are the best part. The priesthood has been my greatest adventure. Since 2009, I have enjoyed introducing our Faith to others as we deepen our love for the Lord. I have taught in the seminary and sometimes I instruct the men in formation for the diaconate. I love to teach and share our Faith. The outdoors rejuvenates me, whether cycling, backpacking, walking in the woods or just gardening in the backyard. I look forward to sharing the journey with you and to transforming our little corner of the world into the Kingdom of God!

Deacon Ron Meyers

Raised as a believer in Jesus Christ but not Catholic, I made the decision to become Catholic when I was 20 years old. After joining OLPH in 1985, I became involved in different ministries including lector and Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion. In my thirties, I felt called to the Diaconate, was ordained in 1999 and have served our community since. I enjoy seeing our parishioners not only at Mass but when walking around town. I have been married to Eileen for 40 years and have 1 son, Steven. Eileen and I enjoy traveling, walks and spending time with each other.

Deacon Fred Linka

Theresa Mieliwocki McCloskey - Parish Secretary

I have been a parishioner at OLPH all my life. My husband and I were married here in 1973 and my children and I attended OLPH school. I have worked in the Parish or School since 1992, first as a kindergarten aide, hot lunch program coordinator, school secretary and currently as the Parish Secretary. My late husband Ed and I have three daughters. I love dogs and currently have a Cavapoo named Teddy. I have deep feelings for our school and parish. It’s my home away from home.

John Klarmann - Director of Faith Formation

My job is to take care of the parish's formation from “womb to tomb” (Fr. Joel, Sep. 2020). Primarily I’m working with our Parish Religious Education Program and our Faith Sharing Small Groups. My family and I joined OLPH Fall of 2020. I’m pursuing my M.A. in Theology at the Augustine Institute. I’ve been married for five years to my wonderful wife and we have an amazing son who you’ll probably hear at Mass from time to time. I enjoy board games, sports (watching and playing), and outdoor adventures. I can’t wait to welcome you to our parish family!

Sue Obuchowski - PREP & Bulletin

I have worked in the parish or school since 2004 in Marketing, Religious Education Assistant, Substitute Teacher, Elective Biology Dissection Teacher and Bulletin Coordinator. Currently, I am still the Religious Education Assistant, Bulletin Coordinator and I help out in the rectory as needed. My mom, my children and I all attended OLPH School. In 1992 my husband John and I were married at OLPH and we have one daughter and two sons. I am a die-hard Minnesota Viking Fan, I love spending time with my family (2-legged & 4-legged) and vacationing in Vermont. Meeting all the parishioners at the Rectory really makes me see how truly special our Parish is.

Shawn Swisher - Business Manager

I moved to New Jersey in February of 2020 and am honored to serve the business needs of OLPH. I previously served as Business Manager for Our Lady of the Mountains Parish in Estes Park, Colorado for five years. I grew up attending Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Denver and I hold a BA in Theology and an MBA from Franciscan University of Steubenville. I am presently unmarried but treasure spending quality time with my wonderful girlfriend Pam and sharing our common faith together. I enjoy watching sports, trying new foods and wines and outdoor recreation, especially cycling, hiking, fishing and bird-watching.

Shanon Bianco - Communications, Design & Social Media

My three children attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School where we made forever family friends beginning in 2013. I was the Technology Teacher and Coordinator at the school briefly in 2019. I also attended R.C.I.A. and was confirmed in April 2020. After relapsing with Leukemia, and undergoing a Stem Cell Transplant, I thank our parish and town for their prayers, kindness, and an un-ending love. I create artwork, photographs, designs and marketing materials for our Parish. I have a BA in Visual Arts, an AS Degree in Studio Art, and a Small Business Marketing Certificate. My husband and I have three kids and two dogs which keep us very busy. We love parks, the beach, boardwalks, camping, baseball, pizza and donuts!
