I have been a parishioner at OLPH all my life. My husband and I were married here in 1973 and my children and I attended OLPH school. I have worked in the Parish or School since 1992, first as a kindergarten aide, hot lunch program coordinator, school secretary and currently as the Parish Secretary. My late husband Ed and I have three daughters. I love dogs and currently have a Cavapoo named Teddy. I have deep feelings for our school and parish. It’s my home away from home. What is most enjoyable about working in the rectory is that each day is different. Probably because I’m the first one here and things pop up. For instance, I am showing the man where all of the fire extinguishers are to be updated or I’m showing workman to the boiler room where they might find the heaters. Being here for over thirty years makes me familiar with the buildings. Sometimes people come for a mass card and end up talking to me. It seems they needed to talk and I’m glad I’m here. It is a joy to be here! Eventually, I do get around to doing the usual stuff.
